Hestia

"O Hestia, guardian of the sacred flame,

The first and the last, the Alpha and Omega,

Unseen, yet ever present in the heart of our homes,

We call upon you, goddess of the hearth, the core of all life.

In silence you dwell, in every flickering flame,

Keeper of the fires that nourish and sustain us.

You who bind together families and communities,

Invisible pillar that upholds civilization's weight,

Guide us, provide for us, warm us with your love.

Gentle goddess, your flame is the spark of life,

It is the warmth of a home, the heart of a community,

The beacon in the dark, the hope in the cold.

You offer safety, comfort, peace –- all the blessings of home.

We welcome you, Hestia, into our humble abode,

Invoking your presence, we offer you our respects.

Bless our hearth, our home, our lives with your grace,

Infuse our spirits with warmth, tranquility, and unity.

By the veil of the night, and by the light of day,

In joy and sorrow, in want and in plenty,

O Hestia, be with us, your children,

Be our hearth, be our home, be our heart.

Bless us, O divine Hestia,

As we honor you, always the first, ever the last.

In your name, we gather, we feast, we rest,

And in your name, we depart, only to return again.

As the day folds into night, and night into day,

Be with us, guide us, protect us.

O wing-shod Hermes, as you have heard our plea,

Deliver our prayers unto Hestia, the first flame, the lasting light."
